Heart-n-Home Boutique

We make alot of outdoor benches, some of them are Big and Chunkey.    They really dress up a porch.

Antique chair we got that was missing a seat.  We refinished it and this is how it turned out. Love the stained with the white.
We do alot of the signs on spindles,  love this saying by Elder Wirthlin
These are still pics from our Boutique in July.  We had a shed, tent and had it set up through the house.  We had made a lot.
Really liked how this one turned out.  This is SOLD
I wanted to try something different an mirror on the back of this piece so I put stained wood it turned out real cute.

These are one of my favorite things we make, I have a thing for doorknobs.  Love the sayings and how it doubles as a shelf.

Frames are always a favorite.  This one would work with or without pictures.  I personally would put black and white pictures in it.

                          Signs, Signs,Signs

Magnet Boards/chalkboards perfect for notes and inspiring quotes and things you can't forget

Shelf I made for
over our stairs,
the Big "H" says
"The best journey always leads you H0ME"
just to help us remember of who we are and were we are going after this life is done.

more decor from heart and home
we eventually will figure out how to sell stuff off this blog, but
for now we will just show you some of our creations:

These next pictures are still some from our Boutique in
July.

 Love the big H.

I really like the way this Home sign turned out.
Would be cute by the front door to hang coats and hats or  backpacks on.

This mirror is one of my favorites things
that my husband has
made.

My FAVORITE decor:

Monogram B.  We make lots of picture frames hanging on spindles that can be set on a table.  They are super cute.  I decided to put my monogram in it with a grapevine wreath(I love to use grapevine wreaths) and I think it turned out great.  I always leave mine up during our boutique to show others what they can do and someone has bought it every time. So I have to make another!

I like many things here the dresser is adorable, especially with the wreath with paper roses.  I love the big love sign with the large material rosette as the letter O.  Stained box with rosette is great(I also am quite fond of stained old looking tags).

My clock is one of my absolute favorite things I have made.
I just wanted a large freestanding clock, so this is what I came up with.  LOOOOOVVVEE it.  Super fun.

Believe it or not but our pantry doors is one of the biggest hits in our house.  Most people really like this door.

Fun way to remind us of what REALLLLYYY is the most important thing in life.  I know mine means the world to me.
Fun way to display those precious memories of this Journey we call "life".

This is an antique we refurbished, I love the curvy shape of the piece. And the mirror is hand carved on the top.

Really like how this armorer turned out.  My husband made it. It sold at our boutique.

The Princess Suite

So i was telling my husband that our girls needed a bunk bed, and he said he was thinking of building a princess one.  A Rapunzelish one.
This is how it turned out.....

sorry the rooms kind of small so its hard to get a full picture of it

As you can see there is room to store girl stuff under the bed.

This bed has detail everywhere.

Book shelf for the multitude of books the girls have. There is also a little cubbie in the top of the bookshelf that can be accessed from the top bunk, a great place to hide treasures from the little guys.

People always ask me how long it took him to build it which I don't know for sure all I know is that this piece of the column I helped him with and it was quite time consuming and difficult.        But, it was worth it it turned out great.

No princess room would be complete without a armour. My husband made that also.
